The price of Maruti Victoris mid-size SUV, which was launched in mid-September, has gone up for the first time. However, this price hike is limited to the top-end ZXi+ (O) MT and AT variants only. The price of both these trims has been increased by Rs 15,000, effective immediately. Initially, the Victoris range was offered in six trim levels, priced at Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). These were the initial prices, which were supposed to rise after a certain period. Prices before the price hike: Before the price hike, the Victoris ZX+ (O) manual variant was priced at Rs 15.82 lakh, automatic variant was priced at Rs 17.77 lakh, automatic AWD variant was priced at Rs 19.22 lakh and Strong Hybrid eCVT variant at Rs 9 lakh. Maruti Suzuki also offers a monthly subscription plan for the mid-size SUV, starting at Rs 27,707. This plan includes the price of the SUV, maintenance, registration, insurance and roadside assistance. In the very first month of sales, the automaker shipped 4,261 units of the Victoris through its Arena dealerships. Engine and Transmission Options Maruti Victoris comes with three engine options – 103 bhp, 1.5 L mild hybrid petrol, 116 bhp, 1.5 L strong hybrid and 89 bhp, 1.5 L petrol – CNG. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual for the mild hybrid and CNG variants, a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the mild hybrid only and an eCVT only for the strong hybrid. The top-end ZX+ (O) AT variants are offered exclusively with an AWD (four-wheel drive) system. Safest Maruti Suzuki Victoris is the safest Maruti Suzuki car currently on sale in India.
