In 2020, Akshay left his job and started farming with modern techniques. How is the crop grown? They have 25 hectares of ancestral country, of which crops such as tinda, cucumber and cucumber are grown in 12 hectares with drip and mulchage methods. The special thing with these crops is that it produces a good return in the summer and winter season and that the profit is much higher than the cost. Akshay’s first farm started in just 2 hectares. In the very first year, there was good profit, which increased their enthusiasm. Last year he earned 8 lakh calls by cultivating vegetables on 5 hectares. This year, the revenue of approximately 18 Lakh calls will be estimated from the farm in 12 hectares. Along with the farm, Akshay also played social responsibility. Today, more than 250 houses from the town have a typing connection, which allows an extra income of about 60 thousand rupees each month. They do not charge any fee with poor families. His main focus in focus farming on Tinda and cucumber crops is on tinda and cucumber crops. The first crop is planted in April and the second crop in August. Plants are given with manure and water drip system. Each acre costs about 20 thousand, while production reaches one and a half lakhs. Under decagement technology, a layer of polythene is laid in the fields, which keeps moisture and grass does not grow. It reduces the irrigation requirement and improves crop quality. The cost of laying a mulch in one field comes about 12 to 15 thousand rupees. Along with the farm, Akshay also linked the youth of the town with employment. 4 to 6 people give regular work. In addition, 50 hectares of land are also grown by the rent of grams. Today, when most of the village youth turn to cities in search of work. At the same time, Akshay Patel has proven that if resources are properly utilized and farmer with modern technology, the possibilities of crores can also thrive by staying in town.
