Even after two deaths in the rehab center, the Prohibition Division didn’t see it as futile to even investigate. Orders have been given to hand over 27 people from the Naya Savera Addiction Center of Ganganagar to their families. The 25-year-old son Fahmeed, resident of Jai Bhawanpur village, who was admitted to the Naya Savera Slavery Center in Ganganagar on Monday evening, was admitted by his father Noor Mohammad on October 15. On Monday, his hands and feet were tied here with rope. A dope was put in the mouth and a pillow was put over the mouth. Fahmeed died due to suffocation. The postmortem report confirmed murder. On the report filed by Noor Mohammad, the police jailed center operators Sunil and Arvind. The death of Priyank alias Kannu, who was found hanging in Jai Ambe Foundation’s de-addiction center in Vedvyaspuri Sector 1 on Tuesday night, created a sensation. Kinnu was brought from his home by the center operator on 30 September 25 for treatment. On receiving the information, his brother Mohan Kumar, resident of village Nath, Mohali, Punjab, reached the police station and took information from the police. At that time, he and his family members had a heated argument with the police. The family members created an uproar by accusing the TP Nagar police station of not taking him to the de-addiction center and not providing correct information. The police calmed them down by assuring them of investigation and action.
