Menbud encourages strategic steps to introduce Indonesian literature to the world
Jakarta – The Indonesian Ministry of Culture (Kemenbud) by the National Talent Management Program (MTN) of Cultural Arts that has strategic collaboration with a number of foreign publishers in the Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) 2025. In addition to the IRF Society, it was also launched this year by the MTN Translation Finance Program (TFP) which provides financial support for international publishers who have translated the work of Indonesian writers. Through MTN, TFP is expected to expand the scope of Indonesian literacy and build worldwide appreciation of the archipelago literary heritage. Through the support of MTN art and culture in IIBF, the Ministry of Culture hopes that young talents in literature not only grow in quantities but also compete at the global level.
