They are also expected to report problems with the distribution of BLTS in their area. We hope that ladies and gentlemen it will become an inseparable unit,” says Gus Ipul. Gus Ipul conveyed that the purpose of BLTS is to maintain people’s purchasing power and encourage national economic growth by targeting KPM that are in deciles 1-4 of the Single National Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN). He also explained that the BLTS KPM consists of more than 20.8 million regular KPM who receive social assistance, and more than 14 million new KPM who were not previously included as regular aid recipients. Then distribution will be in the fourth quarter. The distribution process also goes through two ways, namely for regulars through Himbara and for new KPMs it will go through PT Pos Indonesia. “It’s new because we don’t have an account yet,” said Gus Ipul. The assistance provided is worth IDR 300 thousand per month for the months of October, November and December which is given once for a total of IDR 900 thousand. Thus, with the existence of BLTS, ordinary KPMs receive a total of IDR 1.5 million. “KPM has just received IDR 900 thousand that requires verification, and we will transfer this data to the regional government, the City Government. We want the time within the next 5 days,” he added. He explained that the goal was to verify this data within five days. “We are racing against time and we will immediately forward the verified data to PT Pos Indonesia so that it can be distributed immediately. Due to the president’s order, it can be distributed immediately,” he concluded. (prf/ega)
