In a major political development before the Bihar election in 2025, the head of the National Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) and former Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras announced his party’s exit from his party’s National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The announcement was made during a ceremony held on Monday to commemorate Ambedkar Jayanti in Patna. Mr. Paras said: “I have been in an alliance with BJP and NDA since 2014. But from today there will be no connection to NDA.” Paras further said that his party will independently disputed all the 243 meetings in Bihar, which is a daring step with the aim of establishing RLJP as a prominent player in state politics. Paras said: “The people of Bihar decided to change the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar.” He claimed that he had already visited 22 districts below the grassroots mobilization and would visit the remaining 16 districts in the coming days. While making a stunning attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Mr. Paras accused him of being anti -dalit and ‘mentally ill’, citing increasing crimes against Dalits. He also mentions the recent incidents in Aurangabad and Rohtas, which include a case of Komal Paswan and Ranjit Paswan, in which the state government has been accused of lack of action. “On March 14, on the day of Holi, in the Aurangabad district Bihar, Komal Paswan played with her friends Holi, and the son of the leader of the Lok Janshakti -Party Ram Vilas allegedly crushed her with his bicycle. He finally died due to injuries. Paras said. He also emphasized the incident in the Rohtas district, when Ranjit Paswan was shot by a police officer, and the Nitish Kumar government took no action against the culprits. Paras requested the central government to give Bharat Ratna posthumously to Ram Vilas Passer and described him as “second ambed car”. Share this story -tags
