Jakarta -Police have arrested the man with the initials FHA, 35, who tried to steal a motorcycle owned by students in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Central Jakarta). The offenders performed the action by pretending to find enemies. Susatyo Purnomo Condro, chief commissioner of the Central Jakarta police, said the incident happened yesterday (9/14/2025). At the time, the offenders pushed the two victims of HCE (16) and JMC (16). “The offenders pinned the victim’s vehicle and forced them to pull over. With the reason he wanted to prove that the victim was not his enemy friend,” Susatyo told reporters on Monday (9/15). When the offender was about to escape, the victim tried to take his motorcycle again until the offender fell. Offenders can be secured by locals. “We remind students to always be careful and seek help immediately if they feel threatened. For parents, we are an appeal to watch and do not allow minors to ride motorcycles alone. Crimes like this can be prevented by community vigilance and active participation,” he explained. Compol Agung Adransyah, chief of Kemayoran police, explained that the offenders launched the action by accusing the victim as a friend of his enemy. Police asked the public to be careful. “The offenders used deception by accusing the victim as an ‘enemy friend’ to separate and control their vehicles. Fortunately, residents acted immediately so that the perpetrators could be secured,” he added. At present, the offenders have been named and detained as suspects.
