Miss World Organization responds to media reports about Miss. England Milla Maggie withdrawal
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]May 24 (Ani): Julia Morley CBE, chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, has shared that the Miss World Organization wants to address recent media reports in the British press about Miss. England, Milla Maggie, and her withdrawal from the 72nd Miss World Festival currently being held in India. Earlier this month, Milla Maggie asked to leave the competition because of an emergency reported on her mother’s health. As a mother and grandmother himself, Miss World chairman Julia Morley Cbe responded to Milla’s situation with compassion and arranged her return to England and placed the well -being of the participant and her family first, according to I&P Telangana. After her departure, Charlotte Grant, the first runner -up of Miss England, graciously stepped in to represent her country. Charlotte arrived in India on Wednesday and has since been warmly welcomed in the Miss World Sisterhood. Unfortunately, it came to our attention that certain British media published false and defamatory statements, allegedly made by Milla Maggie, about her experience in India. According to I&P Telangana, these demands are completely unfounded and are not contrary to the reality of her time with us. In response, the Miss World Organization releases unauthorized videos recorded during Milla’s stay in India, expressing its gratitude, joy and appreciation for the experience. These videos reflect her own words and sentiments and serve as a direct contradiction with the recent false narratives. Miss World remains committed to truth, dignity and the values of beauty with a purpose. We call on media outlets to maintain journalistic integrity and verify their sources before publishing misleading content, as per I & Pr Telangana. The Great Final of Miss World 2025 is in Telangana on May 31. (Ani)
