On April 29, 2025, Trade Minister Piyush Goyal said that ’26 out of 25 subjects agreed ‘. The agreement of 6 May 2025 FTA was finalized and the agreement-in-principle was declared. On July 22, 2025, the Cabinet of India approved this agreement.
