Initiatives to turn Dubai into a global model
His Highness also directed the launch of qualitative initiatives and projects to transform Dubai into a global model for a quiet and inspiring life, by enhancing the aesthetic of the city and ensuring the sustainability of its preservation, and providing a more calm and healthy urban environment, which reduces pollution and maintains hygiene and general appearance.
The directives included the creation of sustainable environments that combine environmental protection, entertainment, culture and economics, in addition to consolidating positive values, enhancing family bonding and encouraging a balance between family life and action.
Mohammed bin Rashid Forum for leaders
This came during the participation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in the activities of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Forum for leaders” in Dubai, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The forum collected about 1,000 leadership figures from the government and private sectors to discuss the mechanisms of implementing the vision of His Highness.
Dubai future vision
His Highness stressed that all policies, decisions and projects start from man and end to him, indicating that Dubai should be the best city for the family, the child, the elderly, the tourist, the merchant, the most beautiful, the purity, the discipline and the preservation of nature.
His Highness added: “The leadership forum is an annual event that brings together Dubai leaders, and Dubai was and will remain a factory for leaders and a model for leadership and innovation“.
Preparing new leadership generations
His Highness pointed out that Dubai’s permanent bet is to build generations of leadership competencies capable of keeping pace with global transformations, stressing that the new generation must be faster in thinking and more daring to change, and is able to adopt new concepts and read the future.
Forum activities and sessions
The forum included discussion sessions, workshops and extensive dialogues that dealt with the best initiatives and mechanisms to implement the directives of His Highness, and the leaders of the public and private sectors participated in five major leadership councils: cultural and media identity, Dubai economy, future city, societal integration, Dubai technology and digital, and the sessions also reviewed local and international leadership experiences in the fields of administration and leadership.
A platform to enhance integration and innovation
The forum aims to keep leaders in the heart of global transformations, promote collective strategic thinking, formulate priorities and build a sustainable system to develop leadership competencies capable of dealing with flexibility with regional and international changes, turning challenges into opportunities, as well as enhancing integration between government agencies and developing innovative models in leadership and administration.
