Jakarta – A construction worker with the initials U (25) died after being hit by a retaining wall (TPT) in Cibadak Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor, West Java. At the time of the incident, the victim and his two colleagues were working. The unfortunate incident took place on Friday (17/10) around 16.30 WIB. Acting Sukamakmur sub-district head Gogo Badarudin said the incident started when the three of them dug into the ground. “The incident started when the three workers were digging the ground to widen the chicken claw foundation,” Gogo said on Saturday (18/10/205). The ground support is above them. “When the ground below was excavated, the TPT fell above and hit the employee, causing the victim to be killed and injured,” he explained. Meanwhile, another worker saved himself during the incident. Then evacuation was carried out and the landowner was willing to bear the victims’ losses. “The landowner will be responsible for the burial and medical treatment process until it is completed,” he added.
