Moradabad District Administration ordered to seize the Bungalow awarded to Mulayam in 1994

District Magistrate Anuj Singh of Moradabad canceled the award of a Bungalow 31 years ago to former Uttar Pradesh minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. This property, located in the prestigious Civil Lines area in Moradabad, is currently being used as a district office of the Samajwadi party (SP). Singh ordered the municipal corporation to possess the bungalow within a week. The allocation was originally made on July 13, 1994 and received a minor rent of £ 250 per month during both Yadav’s chief minister and the national president of SP. This bungalow, which is distributed over 1,000 square meters near the Police Training College (PTC II) in civil lines, is built on the state government owned by the government. Two months ago, the DM ordered the local SP unit to vacate the property within 30 days and be handed over to the district administration. Despite the instructions, the party did not follow it. Meanwhile, the SP has filed an application demanding that the decision to cancel the award is reversed. However, the DM rejected the petition and said that the property should be handed over to the public interest. After the death of Yadav on October 10, 2022, the party was not taken any steps regarding the transfer or renewal of the award of property. As a result, the administration canceled the award and said that it could not be continued without appropriate documents or approval. The administration justified the move with reference to the immediate need for government land for housing projects and other schemes related to public well -being. Share this story -tags
