Sharmila Tagore's brilliant Comeback in the Bengali Cinema in 'Archaan', Saa Ali Khan celebrated
Mumbai, April 13 (IANS). Actress Soha Ali Khan celebrated her Amma Sharmila Tagore in her ‘archaeological’. Saa, who shows a few look at Sharmila Tagore from the drama to my Insta fame, wrote: ‘I celebrate Amma in ancient – her brilliant comeback in the Bengali cinema after nearly two decades, as someone once told me – Sharmila Thakur is not a person, but a feeling! ” The veteran actress in “Archaeological” returned to the Bengali Theater after a long time, making the film even more special. The story of the film is about Ritika (Rituparna Sengupta) and her husband Rajiv (Indranil Sengupta), who returns to her ancestral home in Western Bengal in celebration of the 80th birthday of her mother (Sharmila Tagore). After her return, Ritika discovers that her mother is suffering from memory loss, forcing her to face this new reality. Directed by Suman Ghosh, the film was released on April 11, 2025. Soha’s horror comedy ‘Chori 2’, Nusrat Bharucha also came before the audience the same day. Meanwhile, Soha recently spoke openly about her deepest fear during a special conversation with Ians. The actress ‘Rang de Basanti’ revealed that what she is most afraid of is untimely for the loved ones. Soha said: ‘My greatest fear is just unnatural, untimely death. Because I really enjoy survival.
