Mumbai: Drone had to be heavy without permission in Powai, two people registered a case

Mumbai, September 14 (IANS). Mumbai police have registered a case against two people in the case of drones without permission in the Powai area. The incident came to light after a drone over the police training center was blown in Marol. According to police, the two people against whom the case is registered are called Rahul Valmiki, 40, and Sanju Valmiki, 42. It is alleged that both flew a drone over the Marrol Police Training Center without the consent of the police, which is a serious case in terms of security. In this case, the Powai police station acted and arrested the accused Rahul Valmiki, while other accused Sanju Valmiki escaped from the place. Police have registered a case against both in terms of sections 223 and 3 (5) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Mumbai police have made it clear that flying drones near any sensitive area or police/military institute in the city are illegal without permission. It is a legal offense and there will be strict action. Police officers said it was mandatory to get written permission from the police station in question before flying the drone. Flying without permission is not only a violation of privacy, but can also pose a threat to national and local security. Police are now investigating what the accused took up from the drone and what their motive was. Teams were established in search of the accused accused Sanju Valmiki and his mobile location and other technical ways are being dealt with.
