Mumbai: Gangster DK Rao arrested, accused of threatening
Mumbai, October 10 (IANS). The anti -expenditure cell of the crime branch of Mumbai arrested notorious gangster DK Rao. According to Mumbai Crime Branch, this action was taken in a case of extortion and threat of a builder. Officials said a builder of Chembur took about 1.25 crore from someone. He reportedly did not want to return this amount of Rs. 1.25 crore, so he took the help of DK Rao. After this, at the request of the builder, DK Rao threatened the man. When police in Mumbai received the complaint regarding this matter, the anti -expenditure cell of the crime branch immediately began the investigation. Investigation revealed that DK Rao worked with the builder to exert pressure and threaten him. After this, the police registered a case of extortion and threat. Gangster DK Rao will be presented in court on Saturday. According to the information, DK Rao is an old name related to the underworld of Mumbai, against whom many criminal cases have already been registered. He was once associated with a gang opposed to Dawood Ibrahim. He faced the allegations of involvement in various criminal activities.
