Monsoon activities will increase within the next 48 hours, IMD has released Orange Alert for many districts
The rain of the monsoon is likely to increase in the entire Uttar Pradesh within the next two days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) quickly credited it on a low pressure system over the bay of Bengal. The meteorological department said that this system drove the eastern point of the monsoon trough and south, which in some places caused light to moderate rain, as well as heavy to very heavy rainfall in some places. IMD said: “The eastern tip of the monsoon trough has slipped to the south as a result of this weather system. It is likely to receive light to moderate rain in most parts of the state and in some places heavy to very heavy rain.” For many northern districts, Orange Alert Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for various Northern Districts of the state, where probably heavy rain is. These districts are: Bareilly Pilibhit Shahjahanpur Lakhimpur Sitapur Bahraich Shravasti Gonda Balrampur Siddharthnagar Maharajganj estimates of thunderstorms in the west of Uttar Pradesh. IMD said the intensity and distribution of rain is expected to decline from August 15. There is also a possibility that lightning falls in some places. Share this story -tags
