Muslim community avoids Garba Pandals: Arif Masood
Bhopal, September 18 (IANS). The Feast of Navratri is close to and Garba and other events will be celebrated throughout the country. But in the meantime, the political riot over Garba in Madhya Pradesh has increased because of the participation of the Muslim community. In response to the statements of BJP leaders, Congress leader Arif Masood said that the BJP deliberately makes such statements before the BJP festivals, which exacerbate the atmosphere. He called on the Muslim community to prevent Garba from going pandale so that there was no dispute. The leader of the congress said with Ians that the BJP deliberately makes such rhetoric during festivals such as Navratri causing tension in the social environment. He said that Navratri is a festival of happiness and that people worship with reverence, but that the people of BJP see the debate even during the festival. He suggested to the Muslim community that the Muslim community should avoid joining Garba events. They argue that it can avoid any possible dispute or tension, especially if some organizations already give the issue air. However, he also said that if the Garba arrangement committee invites someone, no one else should have objections. However, he also called to take precautions. Explain that the Bajrang Dal workers submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate and claimed a ban on the entry of the Muslim community in the Garba/Dandiya programs. Last year, such a question was also made. In many places, the entry of Muslim community people was even banned. After the recent Love Jihad case in Bhopal, the entry of Muslims in Garba Pandale is also expected to be banned. Some BJP leaders in Bhopal strengthened the voice to ban the entry of Muslims in Garba Pandals. -Ians DKM/DSC shares this story Tags
