The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms gave assurances to meet the legal claims of Bihar Revenue Service Association. Promotion will take precedence in appointing important positions and at ADM level. It was also agreed to monitor the improvement and misconduct of the authorities. Deepak Kumar Singh, additional general secretary, department of income and land reforms, has assured the delegation of the Bihar Revenue Service Association that their legal claims will be accepted. He had a conversation with the Sangh delegation on Tuesday. He said that the demands of promotion and placement on important positions take precedence. He also accepted the demand for the creation of new posts for the placement of Bihar Revenue Service officials at ADM level. The department has suggested that the quality and transparency of the execution of the officers should be improved, so that the Sangh can receive more departmental support. According to the department, it is said to increase the number of higher positions, so that all officers can reach advanced positions during their service period. The department gave positive assurance not to put the zone officers in unnecessary duty, resolve court day, reform in holiday policy and organizing training workshops. The additional general secretary said the cases of misconduct will also be monitored with the officials of this framework. The demand for safety of housing and female officials is also assured of consideration.
