I’ll be the first to admit that, historically, my style haen all over the map. SINCE Hitting Puberty, i’ve continually tried to reinvent myself and my style, dresing in a mishmash of Era-apppropriate trends and what Cultural TouchStone I’d Most Recently Become Obsessed with. From what I can only describe as “elementary-school guidance counter” to a wardrobe compressed entirery of neutrals, i’ve experiment with the full clothing spectrum-but have?
While Going Through Baby Pictures, It Hit with that to Refine My Style, The Ultimate Source Is myself – that is, my child self. Acciting to my mom, who was my stylist at the time, the best a baby i gave impassioned input on what she dressed me. Once i was Old Enough to put my own “whimsical,” in her words, outfits together, i did so with gusto. “You had a Strong Sense of Style,” She Said.
I decide to re-cool some of my favorite outfits from my childhood-with the guidance of the cut’s market editor, Emma oleck, who helped with the looks to the fact that I am an adult woman. As we get Older, Our Style and Taste Can Become diluated by outside influenza, but as children, we often know what we like and dislikely instantly. But oleck advised with them avoid getting too literal. If it is not something to be something to be to be, say it is more about “re-cringing the energy of the look.”
