There will be a review of nomination papers tomorrow, in which the fate of 12 candidates will be decided. In the review, a decision will be made about the candidacy of the candidates, on which the eyes of all political parties are fixed. Tough contest between BJP’s Devyani Rana, National Conference’s Shamim Begum and former minister Harshdev Singh Jagran Correspondent, Jammu. The nomination papers of 12 candidates who filed nominations in the Nagrota assembly by-election to be held on November 11 will be reviewed on Wednesday. Apart from BJP candidate Devyani Rana, National Conference candidate Shamim Begum and former minister Harshdev Singh, nine candidates contested the by-election from this assembly constituency. Filing nominations, the candidates have intensified the campaign in the Nagrota Assembly constituency and in the initial phase, efforts are being made by the candidates to gather voters by holding street meetings at various places. In the elections held last day for Nagrota Assembly Constituency both National Conference and Congress fielded their candidates but this time Congress decided not to field candidates from here as a result of National Conference fielded Shamim Begum. In such a situation, it is believed that the main contest in this constituency will be between the BJP and the NC candidate, while former minister Harshdev Singh will also show his presence here.
