Virgin Study Opportunities in Saudi Arabia .. From hotels to space after introducing a flight line

The British “Virgin Atlantic” Airlines is studying investment opportunities in the field of hotels, vands and spacecraft in Saudi Arabia, following the inauguration of a direct flight between Riyadh and London, according to founder of the company, Richard Branson. He said in an interview with “Al -Sharq” on the sidelines of the launch of the aviation line as part of a collaboration agreement with the Saudi Air Force Program, that the company will perform these flights between Riyadh and London on a daily basis. He added that he used this opportunity to begin with the Saudi side of ideas implemented in the kingdom, including the opening of ‘Virgin’ hotels, the behavior of a speed, the introduction of spacecraft, in addition to other projects. The CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Fahd Hamid Al -Din, said in his interview with ‘Al -Sharq’ that the entry of foreign companies’ increases the kingdom’s competitiveness as a tourist destination, which corresponds to one of the main objectives of the general authority of the Civil Aviation. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has put tourism in the heart of “Vision 2030” to diversify the economy away from oil and create a better life for the population of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom plans to spend almost trillion dollars on the sector over the next decade, and has already invested large amounts of entertainment, including sports and championships, to increase the country’s attractiveness. Investments and Mega projects contributed to raising the country’s tourist goals to 150 million visits annually by 2030, through 80 million tourists from within the Kingdom and 70 million from outside it, while targeting 100 million tourists when the “Vision 2030” was launched, a goal it had already overcome in 2023. 5% last year.
