Nalanda: Arms recovered from the JDU leader’s brother’s house, arrested accused

Bihar Sharif, May 28 (IANS). A cache of weapons was recovered on Wednesday by attacking a home in the Bihar police station in the Nalanda district Bihar. Akhlakhur Rahman alias Akbar Malik was arrested in this case. A police officer said the entire action was done in the Bagnabad area. Police received information that Akhlakhur Rahman alias Akbar Malik, brother of JDU leader Babar Malik, brought a large amount of illegal weapons. After the information said, Superintendent of Police Bharat Soni formed a special investigative team. On Wednesday, the team fell Akbar Malik’s Bagnabad home to information from technical and local people, who lasted seven to eight hours. The houses of Akbar Malik and his two brothers were intensively searched. The entire consignment of weapons was only recovered from Akbar Malik’s home. Superintendent of police Bharat Soni said police received eight dangerous weapons, more than 190 cartridges and other offensive material from his home. The restored arms include DBBL rifle, SPBL rifle, 315, 30.06 rifle, made in England of Babli Scott. He said that Akbar Malik initially managed to escape, but that the police later besieged and arrested him. He said eight cases were registered against Akbar Malik in eight cases in the Bihar police station and more than two cases in other police stations. These cases include rioting, fraud, illegal weapons and offenses under the Arms Act. He is already in jail.
