Shares of Nippon Life India Asset Management (Nam India) rose 4 percent to achieve a record high of £ 906.90 in the intraday trading in an otherwise poor market on Monday 13 October. Nam India share price opened at £ 860.05 compared to the previous closure of £ 872.65 and rose 3.9 percent to achieve a new record high of £ 906.90. At about 2:15 pm, the asset management company traded 2.55 percent higher at £ 894.90. Sensex for shares was 0.24 percent lower at 82.303 at the time. LIC sells some interest in Nam India Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) sold a 2 percent stake in the company through market sale. According to a statement from LIC, it sold 1,20,90,202 shares, equivalent to 2.025 percent of the total shares of Nam India in the period from 30 September 2021 to 9 October 2025, by market sale.
