National guard who is deployed to ICE protests after LA says Fox | Today news

(Bloomberg) -The national guard will be deployed to Los Angeles as protests continue there for a second day, Trump administration -boundary Czar Tom Homan said on Saturday. Earlier on Saturday, the Department of Home Security accused the Democratic leaders in California, including Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass of a contribution to violence. “The violent target of law enforcement in Los Angeles by lawless rioters is despicable and Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom should ask that it be terminated,” DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement on Saturday. Several arrests have been made, Dan Bongino, Deputy Director of the FBI, said in an X post. DHS secretary Kristi mentioned the protesters warned that any violence against officers would be prosecuted. “You won’t stop us or delay us,” she said in an X -mail.
