National police chief supports Kompolnas awards as part of police improvement

Jakarta – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed his gratitude for holding the 2025 Kompolnas Awards. Sigit assessed that the Kompolnas awards are a form of assessment of the performance of the National Police. “Thank God, today we have the honor related to the series of Kompolnas award activities, which for the National Police Institution is a form of assessment carried out by Kompolnas as an independent external supervisor as regulated by law,” General Sigit said after the event at the Merlynn Park Hotel, Central Jakarta, Thursday (16/10/2025). According to him, this award is part of the National Police’s ability to continue to improve its performance. “And of course we, the National Police, are very grateful, because with the assessment carried out by Kompolnas, it is of course our part to continue to make improvements, carry out evaluations both in the field of law enforcement, in the field of public services, in the field of social security, including how we carry out operational or supporting tasks,” the National Police Chief explained. This four-star general also guarantees that the National Police establishment he leads is always open to taking corrective action. For him, it is hoped that improvements or evaluations can make the National Police closer and more loved by the community. “Of course we, the National Police Institution, remain open to improvement, open to evaluation, to be able to create a National Police that is close to and loved by the community and at the same time can continue to make improvements in accordance with the community’s expectations of the National Police Institution,” says Sigit.
