National Police Public Relations Department holds blood drive ahead of 74th anniversary
Jakarta – The National Police Public Relations Division together with the National Police Health Center held a blood donation activity to commemorate the 74th anniversary of National Police Public Relations. The activity was held as a form of Polri’s concern for others in need of medical assistance. Quoted from a written statement, on Wednesday (22/10/2025), the blood donation activity was attended by the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho and all the National Police Public Relations PJUs in the Satya Haprabu Room, National Police Public Relations Division. Apart from that, the blood donation was attended by Polri staff and Polri ASN who had previously gone through a series of medical examinations. By holding this activity, National Police Public Relations emphasizes its commitment to continue to be present and share, not only through information, but also in real action for the community. A total of 129 blood bags were collected from this activity. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT “Now we are holding a blood donation where later the blood donors will be assisted by Yanma, there are students, and several other work units are involved,” said Karo PID and chairman of the National Police Public Relations Birthday Committee, Brigadier General Tjahyono Saputro. According to Tjahyono, this activity is a series of the implementation of the 74th National Police Public Relations anniversary. Previously, outreach was also done for a number of previous Heads of Public Relations. On this anniversary of Polri Public Relations, Tjahyono also hopes that Polri will be increasingly loved by the public. Apart from that, he said, Police Public Relations is at the forefront of providing reliable information. “The hope is that Polri will remain the same as our tagline. Police Public Relations will remain loved by the public and be at the forefront of finding reliable sources of information,” Brigadier General Tjahyono said. This blood donation activity was also attended by National Police personnel from a number of work units at the National Police Headquarters, students from the National Police Education and Training Institute’s STIK Lemdiklat, members of Brimob, as well as journalists from National Police Public Relations partners.
