New -delhi, October 10 (IANS). President Draupadi Murmu visited Gir National Park on Friday and died with the local tribal community. He praised her nature -friendly lifestyle and described her as a source of inspiration for all. The president started his program with Darshan and Puja in the Somnath Temple. President Murmu also paid tribute flowers to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel near the temple. After this, the President Gir National Park visited and died with the local bumpers zone at Sasan Gir. The president said that tribal people have many opportunities for progress in life. He urged the tribal people to provide the best possible education to their children. He was pleased to note that the literacy rate of the Siddi tribal community, a primitive tribal group, is more than 72 percent. President Murmu said the government of India has launched several initiatives for the well -being of the tribal people. He urged everyone to obtain information on development and welfare schemes and not only utilize their benefits, but also linked the village and community people to the schemes. He said that the nature -friendly lifestyle of the tribal community is a source of inspiration for everyone. He said that with the active participation of our stem brothers and sisters, we build a society and country where there is an environment of equality, justice and respect, where the culture and traditions of the Tribal Society are preserved and the rights of our stem brothers and sisters are protected.
