Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonu Sood offers a look at their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]August 27 (Ani): Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family on Wednesday. The actor joined his father, Nitin Mukesh and his brother, Naman Nitin Mukesh, during the festivities, while offering a look at the domestic celebrations. “We welcome Bappa with great joy. Today is also the 49th death anniversary of my Father. You have given him so much love and respect, which made him immortal in everyone’s hearts,” Nitin Mukesh told Ani. The ‘New York’ actor also opened over the celebration of the Ganpati festival, with the traditions of Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and many more during the ten-day period. “We treat him just like our family member. At the same time, we celebrate all the festivals with him. All the decorations are done specially by my parents. We even focused on the smallest detail,” he said. Neil shared an interesting anecdote and revealed how his family bought a specific perfume for Bappa on each trip. “We have a habit of this particular perfume for Bappa when we go to vacations or to strange sites,” he said. The actor talked about his films and considered himself happy to be able to set up a poster in front of his home every year during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Similarly, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who also participated in the festival, opened over the celebrations in his new home. “When I first got to Mumbai, it was almost 27 years, I wasn’t sure how to celebrate the festival and bring Bappa home. But over the years it felt like Bappa showed me the way, and that’s his blessings,” he said. The actor expressed his gratitude and hoped to bring people joy and help a lot more. (Ani)
