Jeremy Strong in Conversations to Play Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network Part II | Mint

Los Angeles, August 1 (PTI) “Succession” star Jeremy Strong is negotiating to set up the role of Meta -executive chief and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network Part II”. No formal offer was submitted to the actor, but he is the best choice of manufacturers for the role, as reported by the deadline of Entertainment News Outlet. The Sony Pictures project, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, will allegedly star Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison. “The Social Network Part II” is described as a follow -up and not a straight successor to David Fincher’s award -winning director “The Social Network”, released in 2010. With Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake, it was written by Ben Mezrich by Sorkin from the 2009 book “The Accasisal Billionaires”. The book checked how Zuckerberg Facebook started his dormitory at Harvard University, as well as the legal dispute he had with co-founder Eduardo Saverin. The successor will allegedly embark on the story behind the Wall Street Journal’s article series “The Facebook Files” by Jeff Horowitz. The reports, published in October 2021, exposed the inner operation of and multiple damage caused by the world’s largest social network. The film is produced by Todd Black, Peter Rice, Sorkin and Stuart Besser. Jesse Eisenberg played Zuckerberg’s role in the first film. The actor also received an Oscar nomination for the role. The film earned a total of eight Oscar nominations and won three of them for the best adapted screenplay for Sorkin, the best original score and best filmworking. Strong’s last job is “The Apprentice”. Directed by Ali Abbasi, the film was released in October and also contains Maria Bakalova and Sebastian Stan. Strong played the role of Roy Cohn in the film.
