Newell Law Taps Relativity Media’s Rosanna Canonigo For Global Sales

EXCLUSIVE: Entertainment industry veteran Rosanna Canonigo has joined the Newell Law Group in a newly created role as the LA-based boutique entertainment legal firm continues to expand its packaging and sales operation

Canonigo will oversee Global Sales for its non-legal Television and Film Packaging & Sales Division. She joins Ty Cameron, who continues to lead the division as Head of Packaging & Sales, bringing together decades of combined experience in content strategy, distribution, and deal-making.

The industry veteran arrives from Relativity Media, where she was Head of TV Sales and Distribution from 2020. Prior to that, she was Director US Sales and Distribution for film and TV content at Entertainment One, with a stint of consulting between the positions.

Canonigo began her career at Mandate Pictures, where she worked on single-picture financing and international all-rights pre-sales for titles including Junosaid Harold & Kumar, The Grudge franchise and The Boogeyman.

She continued this work at Lionsgate working on pre-sales for franchises such as The Hunger Games, Twilightand Sawwhile also shaping global film sales strategies.

She later transitioned into Lionsgate’s television division, supporting series like Mad Men, Orange Is the New Blackand Nashville.
