Under the National Health Mission (NHM), the issue of regular salary and other facilities to health professionals appointed in Haryana was placed in the Monsoon session of Parliament. The MP of the Rohtak Congress, Deepender Singh Hooda, questioned during the question period in the Lok Sabha that no regular salary and other facilities are provided to the health professionals. In response, the Pratap of the Union of the State for Health and Family Welfare, Rao Jadhav, said that all NHM employees receive regular salary. The government also said that the employees involved in NHM are approved as five percent of the salary increase in accordance with the human resource budget, and that three percent of the total human resource budget is recommended for encouraging the human resources budget, according to which the state has a discretion to determine the actual increase. EPF (contribution from employer) is also contributed to NHM employees at a rate of 13.36 percent per month from 1 April 2015. However, MP Deepder Hooda did not agree to the Union Minister’s answer. He said that despite permanent service, NHM employees are facing temporary salary, uncertainty status and non -payment of the increase in the supply allowance for months. The state government refused employees for employees and suspended the service-related subrules from June 2024. Employees have major problems in meeting everyday needs. The situation has become so serious that many employees cannot pay school fees from their children in time. Deepder Hooda said the central government fluttered and said it was a state case, while NHM’s funding and policy control center is in the hands of the center.
