New -Delhi, September 11 (IANS). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has had great success in the Amritsar Temple Grenade Attack Case. In the case, the NIA restored three grenades and a gun, which exposed a large weapon and explosive syndicate to the international conspiracy of the terrorists. The NIA recovered grenades from the Bhamri town in Battala, Punjab, based on the revelations made by accused Sharanjit Kumar Alias Sunny. The NIA also restored a 0.30 drill gun, which was provided to Sharanjit by its foreign bosses to spoil the peace and harmony of Punjab. The repaired explosives and weapons were sent for forensic and technical examination. Last Friday, Sharanjit, who was arrested by Nia van Gaya in Bihar, was actively involved in the conspiracy of a pomegranate attack by cycling attackers Gurtidak Singh and Vishal Gill in the Thakurdwara Sanatan Temple in Amritsar. According to the NIA investigation in the March 2025 case, the attack was carried out on the instructions of foreign masters. After questioning Nia Sharanjit, he reached a special place in Battala in Gurdaspur, where the grenades were hidden. The accused identified this grenades as one of the four grenades he received on March 1, 2025. The accused further informed the investigators that he had assigned a grenade to the attackers two days before the attack on March 15. The NIA investigation so far in the case has unveiled the conspiracy of terrorist masters in Europe, America and Canada behind the attack.
