Ai has been the talk of the town in the tech world in recent years. Thousands of Tech Companies Out there are trying to find ways to use ai to crank out their projects, and as quickly as possible. That includes plenty of companies in the entertainment industry, but it seems like nintendo is not interested in being one of them.
CNBC had the Chance to chat with Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser on a number of topics, and ai came up at one point. When asked about nintendo’s interest in using ai to develop games, bowser made it clear that nintendo will be sticking with their talented teams rather than robots.
** If developers choose to use ai, and it is a discussion right now at Nintendo, it’s not the only method of development games. We still believe that what makes our games special is our developmenters, their artistic capabilities, their insight into how people play. There’s always, always going to be a human touch, and a human engagement in how we develop and build our games. **
