Nithya Menen, along with the film 'Kolambi' and director TK praised Rajeev Kumar

Mumbai, October 9 (IANS). Famous actress Nithya Menen on Thursday praised the film ‘Kolambi’ and director TK wholeheartedly Rajeev Kumar. While sharing some special photos associated with the film on Instagram, Nitya said in Die Post that this film made a special place in her heart. According to him, ‘Kolambi’ is a film that stood the test of time and gave a wonderful experience to everyone. Nitya posted in the caption and wrote: ‘There are a few moments (which very rarely come), if I get a deep satisfaction of a film, if I can keep the artist alive in me. I can do the work I always wanted to do, but I get very few opportunities. One of them was the film, ‘Kolambi’, is one of the cells I can direct. Always remember. He told it when director TK when Rajeev Kumar took the story of this film to his home in Bengaluru for the first time, he felt in the very first meeting that it was a ‘real movie’, which has a deep touch of emotions. Nitya agreed to this project without hesitation. While sharing the experience of recording the film, Nithya calls the atmosphere of AzaGaaram (old Brahmin locality), where the shooting took place. He said that the people there greeted him and the whole team every morning, as if they had become a part of their daily routine. Nitya said: “There was no pretense, nor extra excitement about movie stars. I liked this simplicity a lot.” Nithya also said that the entire team tries to respect the atmosphere of Ugaaram. His priorities were to stay calm, eat pure vegetarian food and just care for the cleanliness. He calls a lovely grandmother (Paati) who accompanied him between shots. Grandma not only shared her stories and on the house, but also offered her AC to give relief from the heat. Nitya said that the river flowing near Uragaram also gave a lot of peace to Nitya. Every time she got time, she spent it near nature. The actress also named a restaurant in Fort Kochi, where she and the entire team, including Sijoy Varghese, Siddharth Menon and Ravi Varman, ate together. Nitya said, “These moments were very special to me. I really felt like myself at that time.
