The resolution seeking exemption for Tamil Nadu of the National Lifting Test (NEET) National Lifting Test was rejected by the president, the chief minister MK Stalin told the meeting on Friday. Nevertheless, the state would continue its struggle to abolish the Neet, he said and announced that a meeting of the entire political party was convened in this regard on April 9, according to a PTI report. Stalin informed the home of the latest development by mentioning rejection as a ‘dark chapter in federalism’, accusing the center of not taking into account the will of Tamil Nadu people and the bill at the meeting. “Despite the Tamil Nadu government that provides all necessary explanations by different ministries, the Union government has now rejected the release of Neet,” Stalin said.
