Qaliubiya supports health insurance with new clinics and units (photos) – ryan

Today, Monday, Eng. Ayman Attia, the governor of Qaliubiya, opened a number of new health projects affiliated with the Health Insurance Authority, in the presence of Dr. Rasha Mustafa, Director of the Qalyubia Health Insurance Branch, and Dr. Osama Al -Shalqani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia, along with the head of the Council and City of Al -Qanater Charitable and the head of the West Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood.

These openings come within the framework of the state’s plan to develop the health sector and provide integrated care for citizens.

During his tour in Al -Qanater Charitable City, the governor opened the new comprehensive clinic after being equipped with the latest medical devices and supplies, as all specialties were transferred from the old building to the new building, with the addition of ophthalmology and dental specialization for the first time to serve the people of the region.

The clinic includes several specialties, including bones, internal, general practitioner, nose, ear, children, psychological, nervous, and chest, as well as an integrated pharmacy, analysis laboratory and medicine store, and the clinic receives about 500 beneficiaries per day.

The development work was implemented with a community participation from the Insan Charitable Association in Al -Qanater Charitable, which reflects the role of partnership between the state and civil society in improving services.

In the West Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood, the governor of Qaliubiya opened the new dialysis unit at the Nile Hospital, which includes 14 beds fully equipped to provide an integrated service for kidney failure patients and contribute to reducing waiting lists and reducing burdens on patients and their families.

It also opened a specialized unit for the treatment of liver tumors, including 10 families equipped with the latest medical devices, which represents a qualitative addition to the health sector in the governorate and provides specialized treatment services without the need to move to central hospitals in Cairo.

The Governor of Qaliubiya stressed that these openings represent a qualitative shift in the level of health services provided within the governorate, and comes within the framework of the state’s commitment to developing the infrastructure of medical facilities and enhancing health insurance services according to the highest international standards.

He added that the governorate is working in coordination with the Health Insurance Authority and the Ministry of Health to provide distinguished medical services worthy of the Egyptian citizen and reduce the pressure on central hospitals, in a manner that ensures the arrival of health care to all centers and cities.
