Missed flight accidentally changed the fate of Akshay Kumar, such as this Bollywood 'Khiladi'

Mumbai, September 8 (IANS). Bollywood player Kumar, that is, Akshay Kumar’s story, looks no less than a movie script. A boy who came out of the streets of Amritsar came to Delhi to Mumbai and became a superstar whose identity became not only in India but worldwide. Akshay’s life is full of struggles, hard work and coincidence. There was also a turn in Akshay’s life that overturned his fate when he missed the flight one morning and the same day when he got his first big movie ‘Didar’. Akshay Kumar was born on September 9, 1967 in Amritsar, Punjab. His real name is Rajiv Hariom Bhatia. His father was in the Indian army, from where Akshay received the doctrine of discipline from childhood. His family stayed in Delhi for a few years and then moved to Mumbai. Here he studied at Don Bosco School and took admission to the Khalsa College, but the spirit was less in studies and more in martial arts. From the eighth class he started practicing in Taekwondo and later learned to go to Bangkok. While staying there, he also worked as a chef and waiter in the hotel. After returning from Bangkok, Akshay started taking a class of mum in Mumbai. It was where one of his students, who was also a photographer, advised him to try his hand in modeling. Akshay initially did not have much success in modeling. He worked with a photographer for about 15 months to build a portfolio. He gradually began to get small modeling projects and Akshay felt that he could also try his hand to act. Akshay gained a small role in Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘AAJ’ in 1987, in which he became a fighting instructor. The role was only 17 seconds, but he did not give up. He continued to audition. He also auditioned for the film ‘Joeta Wohi Sikander’ in 1992, but he did not get the role. Later, the film was done by Aamir Khan and was a super hit. Happiness thought something else for Akshay. One day he was asked for a fashion show in Bangalore. Akshay feels the flight in the evening, while it was in the morning. As a result, he missed the flight and was outside the show. He remained disappointed all day. When he returned home, the mother explained that it was not disappointed, something would be better. On the same day, Akshay Natraj Studio reached, where he met the Make -upman Narendra of Pramod Chakraborty. Narendra searched a photo of Akshay and showed Pramod Chakraborty. After some time, Akshay was named inside and while starring the film ‘Didar’. Akshay’s first film ‘Saugandh’ was released in 1991, but the right identity came from the film Khiladi in 1992. After this, ‘Khiladi’ became part of his name. Movies like ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, ‘The Biggest Khiladi’, ‘Khiladi Ka Khiladi’, ‘International Khiladi’, ‘Khiladi 420’ and ‘Khiladi 786’ made Akshay ‘Bollywood. Akshay started action, but then he proved himself in comedy. Movies like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhagam Bhag’, and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ convert his image into a versatile artist.
