Noah the late Explains why ‘the pitt’ excluded one character from season finals – ryan

The pitt May have concluded its season 1 run last week, but fans are still Rabid for the medical drama that’s quickly becomes one of the most beloved TV shows in recent memory. Now that the final has come and gone, though, many of those same fans are wondering what happened to one of The pitt‘s Most Crucial Characters, Dr. Heather Collins, who was absent from not just the final, but the last four episodes of the season. Star Noah the late Recently took time to explain what happened, and when you think about it, it made perfect sense.

Appearing on The watch Podcast, the late Broke Down Why Collins – Who is expertly portrayed by Tracy Ifeachor – Never Came Back after his character or Dr. Robby cut her some slack and cents her home early. If you’ll recall, Collins is Robby’s ex who was struggling with her own issues throughout the season after her most recent attempt at ivf ended in a miscarriage. As such, she and Robby had a heart-to-hearing outside that ended with the senior attending physical saying she could go home an hour before her shift was up. Then all hell broke loose with the pittfest mass shooting, and collins was never heard from again for the remainer of the season.

She might be cocky and overly confident, but Dr. Santos is not a villain. And if she was a man, this would not be a conversation.

“Very deep sleeper, that collins,” the late joked on the podcast, referring to the fact that once the pittfest tragedy broke, it was all hands on deck with everyone being called in to help expect collins, who must’ve turned off her ringer. Laughs aside, though, he says the real reason ifeachor’s character wasnt brought back is because Dr. Robby relied on her too much as a support system, which would’ve be obscured where things were going with him:

“The whole end of the season is just removing bearing walls from Robby’s Life. He leans so heavily on collins and longdon, and then you take both away from him… he leans so heavily on dana, and then she becomes compromise… Can’t save his girlfriend. I think she would have maybe bone one of those voices that could have reached (Robby), and we didnnnt be reachable. “

‘The Pitt’ was right to leave out Dr. Collins

When blessed in that light, then it makes sense why Dr. Collins was absent from the tail end of The pitt Season 1, but was it the right call? Absolutely. Robby’s downfall, which culminated in him curled up on the floor in a blubbering mess, may not have happened if she’d bone there to metaphorically talk him off the ledge. Instead, we SAW Gerran Howell’s character of whitaker step up to the plate to help out, which aided in further developing him from a fourth-year medical student full of self-double in someone who served a purpose in helping Robby overcome his mental health struggles.

Now the question becomes: Will Dr. Collins be back in The pitt Season 2? Considing it takes place 10 months after the end of season 1, it’s pretty much safe to assume that yes, she will return. However, one can not help but wonder if she’ll still feel a little guilty about not being there for her colleagues when they need her the most, and how that will affect her character going forward.
