Noida and Bithoor Nagar Panchayat under SWACHH BHARAT MISSION 2.0, there will be cooperation in managing cleanliness
Noida, September 27 (IANS). With the aim of speeding up Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0, an important step was taken on September 27, 2025 today under the Swachh City Pair (Clean City Pair) initiative launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, the Government of India. A formal sleeve (sleeve) was signed between Noida Authority and Bithoor Nagar Panchayat of Kanpur. This initiative focuses on the part of experiences, capacity building and strengthening the system of solid and liquid waste management by connecting major cities as mentors and small cities as mentats. In this order, Noida was selected as Mentor City and Bithoor Nagar Panchayat as Mainty City. In terms of the agreement, the areas where the two cities will work together will share the best practices of fixed and liquid waste management, upgrade the door-to-door waste collection system in Bithur, establish a scientific processing and away duty system, promote civil participation and public awareness and provide technical support for better performance in the cleanliness ranking. In this pair, Noida will share his experience, technical solution and management models. At the same time, the joint action plans will be led in the construction of the plan and the capacity of Bithoor’s team will be increased by training programs. The proposals received from Noida will be applied at the local level. Neatness management schemes are launched on the ground in different divisions and the progress report will be shared with the Ministry and the Mentor City. On this occasion, General Manager Public Health S Singh and Project Engineer Public Health-First Gaurav Bansal (Assistant Nodal) were present. At the same time, executive Divya Gupta signed the documents on behalf of Bithur Nagar Panchayat.
