New -Delhi, May 23 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the North East Investor Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, the capital of the country. Union Communications and North Eastern Regional Development Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, met Gautam Adani, founder and president of Adani Group during the program. Gautam Adani announced an investment of Rs 50,000 crore in the North East region, strengthening the increasing importance of large companies in the possibilities of the sector. This announcement is considered an important step towards the overall development and industrial expansion of the region. Earlier, while referring to the presence of chief operating officers at the summit, Premier Modi discussed their enthusiasm on opportunities in the region. The prime minister congratulated all the ministries and state governments and appreciated his efforts to create an investment -friendly atmosphere. The prime minister gave the best wishes, and praised the rising North East investor summit and repeated its dedication to the continuous development and prosperity of the region. PM Modi has underlined the country of the country as the most diverse nation in the world, saying that the northeast is the most diverse region of our diverse nation. He said that the diversity of this region is the greatest power, with an emphasis on the possibilities prevailing in the business world, tradition, textiles and tourism. He said the northeast is synonymous with a emerging center for a prosperous bio-affidavit, bamboo industry, tea production, petroleum and sports and skills, as well as eco-tourism. The prime minister said that the region not only paved the way for organic products, but also made its presence in the form of a power station of energy. He confirmed that the essence of northeastern Ashtalakshmi, which brings wealth and opportunity.
