Minister Agus invites the community to attend Ippafest, exhibitions of the creativity of the prisoners

Jakarta – Minister of Immigration and Correctional (Imipas), Agus Andrianto, invited the public to attend the Indonesian Prison Product and Art Festival (IPA Fest) 2025. IPPA Fest was held on April 21 to 23, 2025 in Banteng Field, Central Jakarta (Central Jakarta). This opportunity was held openly. In a written statement on Sunday (4/20/2025), Agus explained for three days, visitors can testify firsthand the creativity of the promoted residents of Sabang to Merauke, both in the form of crafts, culinary products, fashion and other art performances. This festival becomes an expression space as well as a form of appreciation for the process of coaching and positive changes made behind the prison wall and detention center. Browse to continue with the content, Agus said that one of the special moments that will be present at the IPPA Fest 2025, the launch of the latest song Zivilia band, entitled ‘Don’t You, Let Me’, who works with singer Gita Youubi. This song was created and produced in the Special Class Iia Gunung Sindur prison as part of the music development program. The production process of this song is in collaboration with the Cartamakala Postpat Company. It is a symbol that creativity is unlimited, although someone undergoes a criminal period. Agus said that the IPPA festival is a tangible form of correctional mission to promote and return the target citizens as productive and effective individuals. “IPPA Fest is not just a matter of product actions or exhibitions, but about expectations, second opportunities and humanity. We want people to see firsthand how coaching is performed and how promoted residents are empowered to work, process and get better,” Agus said. Agus explained that his party opened a cooperation space. Many of the promoted residents need extraordinary talents and need support and trust from the public. “Let’s come to the IPPA festival, look at yourself and give them excited,” he added.
