Odisha: CM Majhi honored Sudarshan Patnaik about receiving 'Sand Master Award'

On Saturday, Odisha’s chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi honored him at the public service Bhavan on Saturday after receiving the prestigious Sand Master Award to internationally famous sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik in the United Kingdom. Sudarshan Patnaik is the first Indian to receive global honors during the International Sand Art Festival held in Vamouth, Dorset, UK. Sudarshan Patnaik presented his medal, certificate and a photo of his prize winner Sand Art to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his happiness and described Sudarshan Patnaik as a ‘true property of Odisha’ and hoped he would continue to give more pride to the state and the country. Majhi honored Patnaik by giving a bouquet and scarf as an honor. The honor was given to Sudarshan Patnaik for his beautiful work on the International Sand Art Festival held in Vamouth, where he gave a message of peace by making a 10 -foot high sand image of Lord Ganesha.
