Man Shot to Death in South Shore – ryan

A 56-YEAR-OLD man was shot to death early tuesday in south shore on the south.

Officers responded to a person Shot ARUND 1:20 am in the 7800 block of South Merrill Avenue and Found Alonzo Smith, 56, in the Front Yard Shot in His Head and Left Hand, Chicago Police and the Cooky Medical Examine Said.

Smith was Dead at the scene at 1:35 am, The Medical Examinar’s Office Said.

A Witness Told Responding Officers That Two People Were Arguing Before Multiple Gunshots Rang Out, Officials Said.

Area 2 detectives are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
