PM Modi will attend the 81st Annual Meeting of Iata on Monday, addressed the meeting

New -delhi, June 1 (IANS). As part of his dedication to the development of air infrastructure for world class and improving connectivity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the 81st annual meeting (AGM) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on Monday. The program will be held at 17:00 in Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, where the prime minister will also address the event. This annual meeting of Iata and the World Airports Transport Summit will last from June 1 to June 3. It is noteworthy that the annual meeting of Iata in India was last held in 1983, 42 years ago. More than 1,600 participants from all over the world participate in this meeting, including top leaders of the global aviation industry, government officials from different countries and international media representatives. Important issues such as the economy for airlines, air connection, SAF production of sustainable aviation (SAF), funding for unbundling and innovation will be discussed during the World Airport Transport Summit. During this conference, representatives of the Global Aviation sector will also be able to see the comprehensive changes in the aviation sector in India and its contribution to its socio-economic development. A day earlier, on May 31, PM Modi addressed a program in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Premier Modi addressed women during the Women’s Empowerment General Conference held at Jamburi Maidan in Bhopal.
