Traffic was disrupted due to bridge collapse on Aut-Luhari highway near Mangalore in Kullu
In the Yatra counseling, passengers were warned about the major obstacle due to the damaged bridge on Aut-Luhari National Highway 305 near Mangalore in Banjar subdivision of the Kullu district. The collapse of the bridge completely stopped the movement of vehicles in both directions, causing daily travelers and transport services discomfort. This highway connects banjar to oni- and nyrile regions. According to official sources, the bridge collapsed when a complete vehicle crossed it. However, no casualties were reported in this incident. Banjar Mla Sendra Shourie said that local administration and National Highway (NH) officials acted quickly after this incident. Temporary repairs are planned and teams have been instructed to prepare an alternative route. However, authorities have warned that it could take some time to implement this process, given the loss limit. The MLA said: “Passengers planning to use NH-305 are strongly advised to reconsider their travel plans and choose alternative routes until the damaged division is repaired, and it is considered safe for use. Officers work to ensure minimum disruption and hopefully they will soon provide updates on temporary access ponds.” “Citizens are requested to be informed by official channels and work with traffic advice to avoid unnecessary delays and security threats.
