The state government has recently taken it to increase the allowance of the dear to a similar decision by the central government. From 1 January 2025, the central government announced to increase the beloved allowance 55 percent for employees paying salary under the Seventh Payment Commission. The state government adopted the central government rates and implemented them from the same date. It has been notified that the increased rate of beloved allowance will be paid with the salary of April 2025, that is, in May. As a result, the government will cost an extra expenses of about Rs 300 crore in May. From this, Rs 107 crore on DA payment with regular salary, Rs 193 crore, will be deposited against arrears and Rs 129 crore in CPF of staff coming down. Earlier, on March 28, the Union Cabinet approved a 2 percent increase in the supply allowance for central employees under the Seventh Finance Commission.
