He wrote in his official ‘X’ post: ‘I talked to Union Minister Nitin Gatkari about the situation on National Highway 44 and the absence of contact with the rest of the country through this important route. The disappointment of fruit greens can be fully understood. He showed a lot of paginity for the first few days, but now his hard work has begun to dominate the national highway infrastructure. “Omar Abdullah said,” the Union Minister gave precedence and a few concrete steps will be taken to solve the problem within the next 24 hours. The NH 44, which is considered an important link to Jammu and Kashmir and other states, has been affected several times due to recovery and maintenance in recent months. This route is very important, not only to local people, but also for fruit breeders, as their crops are sent in time across the country.
