New Delhi, October 20 (IANS). Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi celebrated Diwali in a unique and traditional style this time. He visited ‘Ghantewala’, the historic and iconic sweet shop of Old Delhi, established in 1790. During this, Rahul Gandhi tried to make different sweets. This shop has a deep connection with the political history of India and is believed to have served its sweets to many stalwart leaders including Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. The shop owner welcomed Rahul Gandhi. After this, Rahul understood the process of making Imarti and gram flour laddus in ‘Ghantewala’. The artisans told him about the process of preparing Imarti and then Rahul Gandhi himself tried his hand. Apart from this, the MP also tried to make gram flour halwa and laddu.
