He visited ‘Ghantewala’, the historic and iconic sweet shop of Old Delhi, established in 1790. During this, Rahul Gandhi tried to make different sweets. This shop has a deep connection with the political history of India and is believed to have served its sweets to many stalwart leaders including Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. The shop owner welcomed Rahul Gandhi. After this, Rahul understood the process of making Imarti and gram flour laddus in ‘Ghantewala’.
