On the anniversary of the departure of the great artist Mahmoud Al -Jundi, one of the most prominent stations of his personal life that occupied the audience for years, is his marriage to the artist Abla Kamel, who only lasts two years, despite his simple and surprising start.

The marriage that took place in 2003, with a dowry that did not exceed 25 piasters, as the soldier stated in more than one meeting, ended in divorce in 2005, amid a state of ambiguity, until the late artist himself revealed in his last television interview with the media Samar Yousry on the “Party” program via the ON channel, about the real reasons that led to separation.

The soldier said at the time that Abla Kamel Al -Taweel from the house because of the filming was disturbing him a lot, adding: “I was in turn on her, and I did not meet her … and I am a man of a house, I do not like to be absent.” But he also did not hide his influence on what he described as “unequal stardom”, saying: “She has more heroism and stardom than me … and this wounded me, especially since they were nominating me for courtesy roles for her, and this is not a matter of being, because I have respect for my talent.”

He added: “I was refusing to participate in actions in which I would be just the husband of the six … my upbringing and my personality did not accept this … I was without technician, and the feeling of this dominated us greatly.”

The soldier concluded his speech, “May God bless me, I will marry my last times, and I met it as I was not intended.”

Mahmoud al -Jundi left this day, leaving behind a great artistic legacy, and a human story still is narrated.
