On the birthday of PM Modi, Governor and CM 'Healthy Women, Strong Family' campaign started in Jharkhand
Ranchi, September 17 (IANS). Jharkhand -Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday described the nationwide ‘Healthy Women, Strong Family’ campaign on the birthday of Premier Narendra Modi as an important nation -building initiative. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar addressed the state level program at Sadar Hospital in Ranchi at the start of the campaign, saying that India, led by Premier Narendra Modi, has made significant progress in social, economic and cultural fields in the past decade. He said that “healthy women are the groundstone of a strong family and only a strong family creates a strong India.” The Governor said that under this campaign, health examinations and awareness camps, from Ayushman Arogya Temples to District Hospitals from Jharkhand. He called on public representatives, health professionals, Panchayat members, self -assistance groups, Anganwadi servants, Sahia Didis and the media for active participation in it. On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren also wished the Prime Minister a happy birthday, saying that this campaign was a big step towards the health and empowerment of half the population of Jharkhand. He said there is a continuous campaign to deal with challenges such as anemia and malnutrition among women in the state, and that the show is being done on a large scale. The chief minister said women today move forward step by step with men in every area, including education, sports and space. The state government also argues various schemes for empowering half of the population. She expressed the confidence that healthy, cherished and safe women will not only lay the foundation of a strong family, but also play an important role in the progress of the state and the country. Soren said that if half of our half is reinforced in educational, economic and social form, society, state and country will move forward.
